Forklift Drivers

Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for operating a forklift to load/unload trucks, supply production areas with materials, and transport finished goods to warehouse storage. Conducts routine inspections of equipment before use and participates in required training sessions. May also perform duties as a crane operator, bulldozer operator, or heavy machinery driver. Maintains inventory accuracy through product counts, weighing, tagging, and data entry for shipments. Uses a handheld barcode scanner to manage inventory and wrap loads for shipment. Keeps equipment and warehouse clean.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Valid forklift operator license with experience handling various forklift types (e.g., wheel loader, basket lift, pallet jackets)

• Physically fit to handle the physical demands of the role

• Familiarity with data entry and creating bills of lading for outgoing goods

• Ability to safely operate heavy machinery

• Strong attention to detail and safety standards

SHIFT: 1st Shift, Mon – Fri, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm)
Required Experience: Forklift Operator – 3 years
Salary: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
